Welcome to LazyMeow. These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") are a legal agreement between you and the operator of LazyMeow ("we", "us") regarding your use of the LazyMeow mobile application and official website (collectively, the "Service").
Please read this Agreement carefully before using the Service. By registering, logging in, or otherwise using the Service, you are deemed to have read and agreed to this Agreement.
1. Scope and Composition
- This Agreement applies to the LazyMeow mobile application, the official website (www.freshkeep.cc), and related services
- The following rules form an integral part of this Agreement with equal legal effect:
- In case of conflict, the specific rules prevail over this Agreement
2. Service Overview
- LazyMeow is an expiry-management tool providing item records, expiry reminders, search, category management, cloud sync, and an AI assistant
- Some features depend on network connectivity, system permissions, or third-party services
- We reserve the right to optimize, adjust, or discontinue features as operationally needed, with reasonable advance notice
- The Service is offered in a free tier and a Pro membership tier; feature differences are displayed in the app
2.1 Special Notice on AI Features
- The AI assistant, image recognition, barcode recognition, and OCR features are auxiliary tools designed to help you record and retrieve information more efficiently
- AI results may contain errors, omissions, delays, or misinterpretations due to image quality, missing packaging information, model limitations, or network conditions
- For important information such as production dates, expiry dates, medication instructions, food safety, or inventory decisions, you should independently verify the results and not treat AI output as professional advice or a guarantee
- If you rely directly on AI results and suffer inaccurate records, reminder deviations, inventory losses, or other consequences, you bear the corresponding judgment responsibility for your specific situation; we will continue to improve these features within a reasonable scope
3. Account Registration and Management
3.1 Registration
- You may register with a phone number or email address, or use basic features in guest mode
- You should provide truthful, lawful, and valid registration information; you bear the consequences of inaccurate information
- Each phone number or email address may register only one LazyMeow account
3.2 Account Security
- You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and must not lend, transfer, sell, or otherwise provide them to third parties
- You bear account security issues and losses caused by your own actions (e.g., disclosing credentials, falling for phishing)
- If you discover unauthorized use or anomalies, contact us immediately
3.3 Deletion
- You may delete your account at any time: Settings → Account & Security → Delete Account
- Export the data you need before deletion; data cannot be recovered after deletion
- If you have an active subscription, cancel it in the Apple App Store or Huawei AppGallery first — account deletion does not cancel your subscription
- See also: Account & Data Deletion
4. User Conduct
You must comply with applicable laws when using the Service and must not use it to:
- Violate laws, regulations, public order, or morals
- Infringe others' intellectual property, privacy, portrait rights, or other legal rights
- Publish or spread illegal, false, infringing, or harmful information
- Interfere with, damage, or attack the Service through technical means, including malicious registration, data scraping, or reverse engineering
- Distribute malware, commit fraud, or send spam
- Engage in any unlawful commercial activity through the Service
Enforcement: If we discover or are reported to such conduct, we may, depending on severity, issue warnings, restrict features, suspend service, or ban accounts, and we reserve the right to pursue legal liability.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Our Intellectual Property
- The software, technology, interface design, icons, logos, text, documentation, and other content of LazyMeow are owned by us or the lawful rights holders
- Without our written authorization, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or otherwise use such content for commercial purposes
5.2 User Content
- Content you upload or create through the Service (such as item records and photos) remains owned by you or the original rights holder
- You grant us a limited license necessary to provide the Service (storage, sync, display); this license does not involve commercial use of your content
- We will not use your content for advertising, promotion, or AI model training without your permission
- You warrant that your uploaded images, text, and other content do not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, portrait, or other rights; disputes arising therefrom are handled by you in accordance with law
6. Membership Subscription and Payment
- The Pro membership is an optional paid service; prices and benefits are displayed in the app
- Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Huawei AppGallery, with fees collected by the applicable marketplace
- Auto-renewal starts only after your express consent and is not preselected; see the Auto-Renewal Agreement for cancellation instructions and detailed rules
- Refunds are handled by the marketplace that processed the charge; Apple users may apply at reportaproblem.apple.com, while Huawei users should use the order or customer-support entry in Huawei AppGallery
- We may adjust membership benefits and prices based on operational needs, with advance notice; already-purchased periods are not affected
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
7.1 Service Availability
- The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis; we make reasonable commercial efforts to ensure continuity and security
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be completely uninterrupted, delay-free, error-free, or absolutely secure
7.2 Exemption Scenarios
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for service interruptions or data loss caused by:
- Force majeure — including natural disasters, government actions, legal changes, war, strikes, network attacks, etc.
- Third parties — failures of third-party services (e.g., Apple or Huawei marketplace outages, carrier failures)
- Your own actions — device failures, network interruptions, operational mistakes, or misuse on your part
- AI feature limitations — errors or losses from model output deviations, recognition failures, or incomplete barcode or image information when you actively use AI features
7.3 Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for the Service shall not exceed the fees you actually paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Personal Information Protection
We take the protection of your personal information seriously. For how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, and the rights you enjoy, see the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to the Agreement
- We may update this Agreement as our business develops or as required by law
- Updated terms will be published on our website or notified in-app
- Non-material changes take effect upon publication; material changes (such as significant adjustments to rights and obligations) will be notified via pop-up or push with a reasonable effective period
- If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Service; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding, for the purpose of this Agreement, the laws of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan); however, if you are located outside mainland China, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country or region of residence continue to apply to you
- Disputes arising from or related to this Agreement shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation
- If negotiation fails, users in mainland China agree to submit disputes to the competent people's court in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province; users in other regions may bring proceedings before a court of competent jurisdiction
11. Miscellaneous
- Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation
- If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
- Our failure or delay in exercising any right does not constitute a waiver of that right
